Lebanon’s Hezbollah group says it has shot down an Israeli drone in southern Lebanon close to the border with Israel.
The Iran-backed group “shot down an Israeli drone that entered Lebanese airspace… close to Zebqin within the south”, it stated in an announcement on Monday.
The group didn’t present additional particulars.
Based on Reuters information company, the Israeli army stated one in all its drones “got here down throughout routine exercise in Lebanese territory” and there was “no danger” of knowledge loss.
The incident follows weeks of battle alongside the Lebanon-Israel border, notably in a disputed space generally known as Sheba Farms.
