The restoration of relations between the USA and China politics

Relations between the USA and China look like at a crossroads.

Two high-profile American visits have been to Beijing up to now month to attempt to restore broken ties.

Commerce sanctions, laptop chip secrets and techniques and Taiwan are simply among the factors of rivalry for the world’s two largest economies and nuclear superpowers.

However to this point, there’s apparently little for diplomatic missions.

So are they simply picture ops and political theater?

Or has one thing been achieved?
