The excitement level is touching the skyline. Full of dreams, you are unable to fall asleep. Clock pointers are not moving the way they do otherwise. Can you guess when it all happen? I know right! It directs towards the phenomena of excitement when we are about to begin something fascinating about students. What can be more fascinating than starting a new yet significant chapter called college life? Even though many, this one is matchless.

Matter of concern:

However, there is nothing on the surface of the earth that has just one side. The same goes in case of college life as well. Carrying a bundle of internal challenges, the new chapter teaches various lessons other than studies too. One of them is meeting monthly expenses, but that can be resolved via cheap dissertation writing, discounted lunch deals, etc.

But when we talk about external ones, it is not a piece of cake to tackle with. Below is the list of uninvited challenges which highlight the need of having a louder voice at this stage of life.

Visible advantages of having your say.

Let me explain a little bit more, about how, when, and where it makes a huge difference.

To avoid bully

Are you afraid of getting bullied during the initial days of college? Well, you are not alone. Irrespective of gender, age, class, and background, we all go through this phase when entering a new educational institution. Unfortunately, this has now become a welcoming part. Seniors out of nowhere appear to mock, bully or annoy newcomers on their very first day at college, especially in an undergraduate program.

  • Better make your mind before it hits your peace. If you want to effortlessly handle the situation, ignorance is your best friend.
  • But for a long-term solution, developing a voice would only make a difference. Who says a junior cannot have a voice? They can, in fact, they should. Nobody is inferior except for their academic levels.
  • This behavior of yours not only saves you but also encourages other newbies to come forward who never spoke up before.
  • With this impactful yet politely responsive voice, seniors would think twice prior to applying the same strategy.

Save their rights

Living in the year 2022 yet cannot speak up for saving rights? It is high time to update yourself regarding the need of the hour. Trust me, this brutal world will miss use you otherwise. Once students get settled by adopting an entirely different environment after going through the initial phases. They are supposed to speak up because this time calling mamma for support is not the solution. Instead snatching your legal rights is the only key to use. If you won’t do that yourself, nobody is going to play the role.

  • Keep your voice louder in order to avoid the consequences. Nobody should bear oppression by any means in campus life.
  • Students are often required to challenge the unavailability of basic needs of accommodation that other hostilities might be getting.
  • Challenging the obtained marks post exams that don’t match your expectations and hard work feels a bit offensive but a much more important task to perform with voice and action.
  • Shyness leads to nowhere. So is being extra innocent. Nowadays it is treated as foolishness and people like these are subjected to be a victim of an unseen injustice.

Lead student council

How would you lead a team without clearing words? Actually, none can. Student support is a body that is a generalized voice of students. Allowing them to put their problems, views, and concerns on the front foot, this council has to be led by the most confident yet composed person of all time. Imagine if there was no one catering to the student’s issue. Masses will end up facing several consequences despite paying high tuition fees. If everyone was shy enough to speak up, let alone solve others’ concerns.

  • Who would unite students under the umbrella of unity? Who would convince them to speak, share and help their voice reach the respective departments? Hence to become another voice, you first have to own yours.
  • One of the highly common issue that the head of the student body handle is raising funds to make necessary reform and organize events.
  • They represent learners for problems like early arrival of exams, incidents of mishap, etc. yes it requires step by step process too.
  • If everyone was shy enough to speak up, let alone solve others’ concerns. Be so ready that in case there is nobody to sail the boat, your own words will serve the cause.

Academic growth

When it comes to student’s voices, mostly, there has been a lot of debate on where this conversation would lead to. This includes whether or not students’ voice is just for students who feel uncomfortable about their college experience with philosophy dissertation help. Second, it is better to have a united student vocal rather than everybody declaring their own opinions, etc. Although there may be situations where individual students have to use their expressions to share their thoughts, the more effective way of expressing this kind is through participation.

  • A student’s voice is essential for academic growth. To be very honest, it is way more than sharing your ideas with your professor. Maybe when having a slight objection to an assigned topic.
  • Probably, more of getting feedback on your projects and creating a learning environment, collaboration, and growth at the same time.
  • Part of learning to write well is letting yourself be vulnerable and sharing personal experiences that connect to what you’re learning in class.
  • The scenario of asking queries multiple times when unable to absorb things at once. Shy students often struggle in this case.

Prominent presence in co-curricular activities

The worst part about academic life is not when we do not top in the class, but rather when we fail to get the maximum out of given opportunities for. Such as sports, drama, music, and other activities leading to the enhancement of skills. Students are probably not aware of the many co-curricular activities available to them. In fact, even if a student is not involved in a sport, he or she may never have heard of its name before becoming part of the audience.

  • With the louder voice, chances of becoming part of curricular activities also increased. on the other hand, shyness leads to nowhere.
  • It is not just catering to sports but other events as well. Only a prominent presence can get you through the process where the entire campus is present.
  • Once you have attained that level and become a prominent member, you would be able to spread your wings beyond city campus, region, or even country too.
  • This depicts an utmost level of confidence, teamwork, time management, and patience level on your resume. Yes, it is highly significant for students to excel in their careers as well.

Bottom line.

Been there done that! Moving from high school to college is not an ordinary part rather carries a lot more value to shape both personality and career. Calling it 360 change wouldn’t be wrong in the life of the beholder. Therefore, suggesting you reserve these leadership roles from today. Believe me, it is never too late to start. If you have not initiated sounding louder yet, begin now.

I am not asking you to go fight, or create violence but groom your personality in a manner that none will ever get a way out to oppress your voice, do injustice or behave ill with you. You can also listen to some sane student advice who have literally proved their balanced personality.
